Can't remember the name of the game?

Question

So I can't remember the name of the game but I want to install it its really cool game so okay lets get started. about the game: your in water and you have enemies so you have to enlarge your space but if your enemy gets in your way then you will get killed and loose 1 life as I remember you have 3 lives. please If you know the answer tell me the name of the game

I can only think of Super Mario Brothers.  I don't know if what level it is not but I think it is level -1. I can't tell you how to get there, but it is in one of the Mario games.
