... her up and place her in the box when she is trying to use it. She just jumps out and pee's or poops somewhere else. I try and place her in the box evey hour or even after naps, eating and playtime. She poops near the litterbox just not in it. Ive tried different litters, and she can easily get in the box too. A couple days ago we got a 4 mo old cat. The two love each other, the older cat uses it fine, my other cat still wont go. Ive tried keeping her in the bathroom with food water toys and the litterbox but she just meows like crazy and stresses herself out. Help, my boyfriend wont want to keep her if we cant potty train her

Kittens naturally like to relieve themselves in dirt or sand. If you introduce them to a litter box, they'll gladly go there instead of on your carpet. If you start as soon as you bring your kitten home, he or she will be using the box regularly in no time. It is important to find the right box for your kitten and encourage her to use it, but you won’t need to "litter train" a cat in the same way you would house-train a dog. You shouldn’t need to teach your cat what to do with a litter box; instinct will generally take over.
