Can't get insurance without a drivers license. Can't get DL without insurance. What to do?

assume you mean car insurance......why on earth would you think you need insurance to get a drivers license????????????

There are many many people who only have a license but not a car. This is not correct.

I live in Texas, and I own a car. In order to apply for my DL, I need to show proof of insurance, up to date inspection, and registration for my car.

You might need temp insurance while taking the class to get certified. Talk to the instructor if this is the case, they can tell you what actions you need to take.
