I'm planning to study English in foreign country and I chose Canada.
However my father said "You must study in U.S. or U.K. because people rate you by where you studied and how you can speak original English which spoken in U.K. and east coast of the U.S.".
From view of the people who speak English as mother ton , is that true?
I heard many people who want to learn English from not only Asia but also Europe study in Canada.
Is Canadian English so different from British-English and American English that people treat me dismissively?
