I'm in the 5th grade and I like a girl named Brighton I can even talk to her and we have so much in common I know she is kind of popular but I like her so much I always stare at her in th basket ball and when I go back to school I'll be in the sixth grade she sometimes talked to me and she told me to do something for her I can't tell if she likes me or not but she is already in a relationship with 10 year old and she is 11 years old

She is afraid of the officiality of it. So don't ask her out on a "date." Ask her to hang out with you one day. It is less pressure and she will be more comfortable with it. If she is busy this time, then just ask her some other time. She wants to go out with you but she is just a little nervous about it. Keep trying. And keep it casual, no pressure.

edit: Actually the first few times you can have a few other friends come too. It will GREATLY relieve the pressure. Then after a while, maybe tell her that some of your friends are going then when she gets there, tell her they couldn't make it lol.
