Ok so I want to show my TWH in the hunter ring but she has to trot. She has only ever trotted a few times and it was maybe two strides when she was angry in her pasture. I cannot afford another horse and would like to teach her to trot even if that means that she will no longer gait. I know it sounds dumb but please no hate comments. When I got her I did not ride English or want to show. If I did I would not have gotten her but time went by and my opinion changed. So please, anything helps. And selling her is an absolute last resort so please don't tell me to just sell her or swap her with someone who will give me their horse for mine.
