I recently started purchasing items from a wholesale company and selling them online. Long story short there is another girl doing the same thing who is in another state claiming I have copied her. I looked over her claims and seen as though there was an error and a person helping me had been copying her website, ect. So I immediately apologized and took over full control changing everything out. We do still sell the same items which is not illegal and even though we have completely different looks, names, etc. She is still claiming I am copying her and is sending threatening messages, even slandering me on social media. We are in different states and I am not a registered business. Can she take me to court and if so what will happen exactly?

Be sure to make hard copies of anything you think is slandering you and the dates the content was up on the web. You do not make clear how this person feels you have infringed on something to which she has rights. Simply doing or selling the same thing she is dpomg or selling is not copyright infringement unless she owns rights to images you are using. If she just "stole the images first" that gives her no rights to use the images and no legal standing to sue you.
