I was recently was suspended for a no call no show at my work. I overslept and called my work 2 hours after my shift started and they told me to stay home. Later the GM called and told me that people were telling her that I was planning on not going to work. She has one statement from a girl thats says she said she'd cover my shift but I had declined (which to me means I was planning on going to work the whole time). I want to go in and get an employee handbook to look up the no call no show rules of our restaurant but don't know if I'm legally allowed to go into the building?
Can you go into your workplace while on suspension?

Suspension is a form of punishment of a no call no show. Employers choose different forms of punishment, depending on the case.
While in suspension, no, you cannot work, until you have been told to do so. But you can try to communicate with your manager and explain the situation; there's no law that prohibits the entrance on the building while being suspended.
Hopefully, you had a good prior attendance record. Good luck!
