I just found out I was pregnant a week ago. We thought I was pregnant a month ago because my period was almost a week late which is not normal so I took a pregnancy test and it was negative but I feel like I'm showing a little & it's not a food baby ! It's defiantly to soon to show. I'm 5'7 & weigh 115. Could I still have been pregnant but got a negative pregnancy test & period ? I have a doctors appointment but I'm eggar to know !!! Thanks .

A False Positive is possible but they are rare.
A false-positive might happen if you had a pregnancy loss soon after the fertilized egg attached to your uterine lining (biochemical pregnancy) or you take a pregnancy test too soon after taking a fertility drug that contains HCG. An ectopic pregnancy or menopause also might contribute to misleading test results.
Fertility drugs or other medications that contain HCG might interfere with home pregnancy test results. However, most medications, including antibiotics and birth control pills, don't affect the accuracy of home pregnancy tests.
If you have gotten positive results or mixed results you should see a doctor and get a blood test or pelvic exam. These tests are very reliable.

Most tests claim to be "greater than 99 percent accurate" and imply that you can use them as early as the day you miss your period (or sooner), but a recent study found that some tests aren't sensitive enough to guarantee an accurate result at that point.
Researchers evaluated pregnancy tests from three different manufacturers and found that only one brand of test (both the digital and non-digital version) was 97 percent accurate in detecting pregnancy on the first day of a missed menstrual period. (The amount of hCG in the urine at this time can vary a great deal from one woman to another.) The other brands correctly predicted pregnancy about half the time.
The bottom line: You're more likely to get an accurate result if you wait a few days to a week after you expect your period before testing.
