I always have a loaf in the freezer! A loaf of bread will last alot longer in the fridge than out on the counter, and yes you can definitely freeze it, just make sure its sealed up well so as not to get freezer burned.
Avoid stale or moldy bread by freezing your excess. Store it less than three weeks. Wrap homemade bread in a bit of plastic wrap, foil or freezer paper after it has cooled completely and freeze. Simply place a loaf in the refrigerator overnight.
