Carbon neutrality is meaningless fancy talk for environment politics and quixotic scientists. You can create it in a region densely populated by native americans from the 1600s or the like, maybe. Otherwise, modern folk have grown too dependent on convenience to let it go, and pollution is the result of keeping up with demand; there is as yet no technological means around that entirely of which I'm aware. Someone's gotta foot the bill, and the preferable chump is always "not me, later".
