I live in Georgia. My girlfriend moved in with me when she was 17 but she told me she was 18. We went to school together, and she graduated a year after i did so i assumed that she was one year younger than me and I'm 19. Her mom wants to press charges on me for abducting even though i didn't know how old she was.

State laws recognize the capacity of individuals to enter into marriage or otherwise make legal decisions, which includes both mental capacity and maturity.
Those under the age of majority, or "minors," are considered incapable of such legal decisions.
Georgia legal ages laws do not specify at which age a minor is eligible for emancipation from his or her parents, but the state requires individuals to be 18 years old in order to consent to medical treatment or enter into a contract.
The Georgia Age of Consent is 16 years old. In the United States, the age of consent is the minimum age at which an individual is considered legally old enough to consent to participation in sexual activity.
If she is 17 and you are 19 then it looks like no crime has been committed.
Yes, as I said above: Georgia legal ages laws do not specify at which age a minor is eligible for emancipation from his or her parents. She can move out of her parents house, she just can't sign a contract for renting a place or buying a car or such until she is 18.
Except she moved in to my apartment at 17 And her mom wants to press abducting charges. It's not about me and her having sex.
