Recently, my employer stated that she required everyone to wear a flag pin on their uniform. I understand her reasoning to be that she is former military and shows pride in country. Being a veteran myself I can respect the honor towards the flag you fought for. But if anyone wore any other flag or symbol on their clothing it may come of as offensive to other individuals and they would be required to remove it. My question is, can you be required to wear it in the workplace and, if so/not, what are the regulations regarding this?
