I know it's a stupid question - but I honestly do not know. Though, truth be told I've only started exercising (and going on a diet) two weeks ago, I expected a little bit of results, and I've gotten barely any.

this depends on your height and age mostly. I think you should stay at 109lbs and start weight training to get muscle. Being too thin doesn't look good either. Personally I like people with muscle VS just being thin.
Weight lifting will increase your metabolism, making it easier to keep the unwanted fat away. Focus on weight training 2 or 3 times a week for about 30 minutes and get some walking or jogging in about 30 to 45 minutes a few times a week and you will see results, while doing a high fiber high protein diet.
I call this diet a high volume low calorie diet, where you eat natural, nutrient rich foods, like fruits, vegetables and whole grains. If you do not like meat then you can get your protein with eggs, nuts, seeds, beans whole grains and vegetables. If you are a soda drinker, don't be afraid to drink diet soda, and don't drink juice with added sugars. I also love making fruit smoothies for breakfast and even for dinner, while having a small lunch in between. Just make sure you follow portions, I still have trouble with that sometimes.
I hope this was helpful and that you see results, you may not see big results for the first couple of weeks but keep at it and you will. You can also go onto youtube for tips on weight lifting and proper cardio workouts.
Good explanation! I like it!
Thanks!
