I'm wanting to visit South Korea and I have a friend who lives there and attend high school. I want to attend her high school for 2 months during the summer. Is that possible? I'm Korean and a year older than her, and I wouldn't be attending high school for education, but rather for experience.

Hi, concerning your question I cannot say if you can or you cannot attend a high school in Korea. Since there are some portion of schools in Korea that has foreign student exchange program, you might be staying in your friend's school or might not depending on the status of that school. If you're still attending high school in your own country, I don't think attending Korean school for 2 months is possible. You need a score to be graded and since we have 2 semesters each year and 4 major exams so 2 exams in each semester. I recommend you to first ask your friend if her school has exchange program and look into some of the websites such as EF or search things like high school exchange program in Korea. Since you have a friend in Korea, it could be less difficult than some people who actually come to a place with no acquaintance. Hope this helps and good luck!
