I'm a 16 year old female and have suffered with excessive sweating for most of my life. I spoke to a women a couple of months ago and she said that she uses mens deodorants somedays to combat her sweating. I was just wondering if this case applies to driclor aswell? Would women be able to use driclor for men and achieve better results rather than driclor for women or would it cause bad side effects etc?
Can women use mens driclor? Will it be more effective?

No deodorant is gender specific, they are simply marketed at men or at women so yeah, you can use it.Onr thing though driclor is not a deodorant, it is an anti-perspirant which is a very different thing. A deodorant mask the smell but doesn't prevent the sweat while an anti-perspirant works to prevent the sweating but doesn't do anything about the smell (usually). Driclor, as most anti-perspirants do, uses aluminium chloride hexahydrate as the active ingredient this has a nasty side effect though of breaking down to form hydrochloric acid which is not a problem you use it lightly and sparingly otherwise you might end up with a rash or some form of skin irritation.
My advice would be use talcum powder which has the effect of drying the skin of sweat without any chance of skin damage plus you can apply deodorant before using the talc.
