people talk about wine and how great it is, but i find it difficult to drink red wine. i don't know if it is my taste bud or something, but i found french red wine taste soy sauce while Italian wine taste like grape juice alcohol. just wondering if that is suppose to taste like that or it's from different brewing method.

How many different wines have you tried? Soy sauce is very salty, that should never be a flavor you taste in any wine. Are you drinking very cheap wine? This could be an issue especially with imports because quite a bit of cost is in shipping. I would try a fifteen plus bottle of Oregon or California pinot noir, it is a softer and more delicate red than can get your taste buds going in the right direction. I'm guessing the Italian wine you tried was a Chianti, which can seem hot(as in high alcohol imbalance). You may also want to try a French beujolais noveau that can be snagged for less than ten, and is the softest and fruitiest red. Remember to use a good wine seller, not your local grocery store, so there are people to help. You can generally trust their judgments even if they are commissioned based they want you to be a return customer, and we love wine and want you to enjoy it as well.
Hi, I had no idea about wine, but after returning from the trip I got some idea. Recently I had gone for a trip to Bordeaux with my family and from there I visited for a Bordeaux wine tour one day trip with the help from rusticvinestours.com. Which is really enjoyable and also got to taste a large variety of wine there. Thanks a lot....
