There is a game called American Truck Simulator. The free demo version only covers 2 states California and Nevada. On the freeway whilst in California your only allowed to go up to 55mph, once you get into Nevada it changes to 80mph and that's for trucks. California may be a lot more sensible but I was wondering if that really is the speed limit in real life for Nevada.

You're a little off base, its not just trucks.

"California Highways with 70 MPH Speed Limits. The California Department of Transportation and the California Highway Patrol will implement 70 MPH speed limits on the following Interstate and Non-Interstate freeway segments. These 70 MPH segments are exceptions to the State's general maximum speed limit of 65 MPH."
