Hi, I'm 18 and it was my first time donating blood around 2 hours ago, I'm terrified by needles but the feeling of helping someone is always something I enjoy, and I decided to do it, I know needles don't hurt it's just a ping, but I get really nervous close to it, I watch a lot of movies.....you know.....like premonition etc.......anyways back to the point, while I was donating I couldn't feel my body is tried to move it but I just couldn't, I felt really dizzy and I wasn't able to see clearly, had blurry vision for like 1 minute or 2, I was freaking out. I remember thinking that I was going to die (I'm very dramatic) and I was thinking about my last words.....my question is, could anything very serious had happened to me? I mean like going to the hospital because of it? I also had to leave early because I had something very important to do and the nurse there said that it wasn't a good idea.....anyways thank you for taking your time here :) I got free soda tho, I'll take that experience as a win.
