My mum was diagnosed with personality disorder, she has different voice, some words she pronounces incorrectly, behaves as a child, if something is refused from her wishes she drops a tantrum, most of the chores i do as she is unable to do them, basically i became the mom of my mom. Her movements are slower, seeks attention all the time and when I ask her how does she feel the answer is emptiness inside or spiritually. I spend all my days with her, being her company and talking with her just as before, being funny with her mostly, trying to make her happy and I show her empathy, explaining her things that she does not understand. She is 60 years old. I am 23. She will have a check up at the psychiatrist after two months but the problem is that I did not get any advice on how to deal with her so she would be a bit better.
Can someone help me with dealing with my mum who is diagnosed with personality disorder?

Also I am concerned with leaving her alone for even half a day when I should do my obligations because I fear that she might harm herself or she would go somewhere to look for company and she would get disoriented or mistreated. I don't have anyone to be with her until I am away.

I am sorry to hear this, it is always a sad situation.
Love and compassion...And as much understanding as you can muster. Another thing to try, is to play along with her personality changes. (As psychiatrists often do with people's delusions).
May I ask...
Is this been a constant throughout her life? Or is it recent development?
Has she been prescribed medicine for this?
Or has she undergone kidney dialysis? (My grandmother would change personality when she was doing dialysis).
My grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Deminsia and he occasionally reverts to odd, child like behavior. And I hope that this is not the same for your mother.
Another thing to possibly consider is that maybe another "spirit" has entered her. I know that sounds crazy but anything is possible. Maybe ask her questions, when her personality changes...Like "what's your name?", "where we're you born?" And so on. And try researching to see if there is a connection.
The weird thing I noticed is that she switched to the ",child" since the hospital and she is not switching to other personality or back to normal. This is just new, she has this since last week even if sometimes rarely I noticed a weird difference all of a sudden in her voice and speech but she switched back before quickly to original herself. Last night she seemed again being herself but now again by the morning she is not herself. If we get to the occult, possession is possible as she admitted me that she has a demon in herself permanently, and before at sudden changes her facial features were also different and her eyes. I wanted to do a ritualistic exorcism that I had from a friend of mine, but it failed because my mother did not allow me.
