I don't know where to start, what sites to visit, what to do once I find one, what to say to people to let me write for them or ANYTHING. I don't know anyone who does this sort of thing either, so I'm really stumped for ideas. Considering just giving up on my dream. Yahoo answers stopped working, and I'm like, OH that's it, game over. Until I found a link to this place. Hope someone can help me, thanks in advance.

Start small. Write some short stories, they're quick and easy to publish, and you don't need an agent to publish them. Another good place to start is freelance articles writing, here's a good site to start: Textbroker. Google it. Just remember, at first you might want to have another job too, because you usually don't start out making tons of money as a freelance writer.
