Hi, I was wondering if someone can get access to files in your computer by hacking. The story goes a bit like this... i took some selfies from my phone and send them through viber. The photos were saved in my phones viber folder and also at my laptops viber photos. I never uploaded them in any cloud software online. Three weeks ago i had a friend to come and stay over at mine for holidays. One day i went to work and he had access to my laptop. When we met in the evening he was really upset and said that someone send some photos of me to him through email. The email was saying 'Do you know your friends' and he clicked on it and some of my pictures appeared. then his email account got locked up and he couldnt sign in again. Those photos were only available on my phone and on my laptop. They never went online. Except when i send them over through viber. Also, the receipt of the photos was my mum who i doubt send them over or did anything else with them.
My question is... is it possible for a hacker to get access to my local files of my phone or laptop? I have high beliefs that my friend is actually the one behind the 'hacking' as he had access to my laptop.. but before making any accusations i would like to know if this could happen. I dont want to blame my friend for something that he might never had done, i just want to know if its possible for a hacker to get those files..
ps. I had airandroid installed on my laptop, is it possible that they had access from that? The photos he send over were photos i took back in april...
