Can someone compare grafting vs growing from seeds and which they would recommend over the other?

It depends on what you want to grow, some plants need to be grafted (like fruit trees) and some need to be grown from seed. I'm not sure if there is a plant that can be grown from seed or grafted and produce the same result.
