I have both asthma and very flat feet. I also love running, and someday, I want to run a marathon. A full, 26.2 mile marathon. But I can't run without my feet hurting really badly and I get asthma attacks from running for a long distance. Is there anyone with both flat feet and asthma who has run a full marathon? Is it even possible?

Hi,
I really respect you for wanting to run a marathon even under these conditions.I once heard about a girl, who ran a marathon with an exoskeleton becaus she couldn't move her legs. She needed 17 days or something like that. If you want to run a marathon you can definitively do so. Maybe you'll need a bit more time but I don't think, that's really bad.
I hope you will do it
Best wishes
You can do it. I have asthma also. And I have played high school soccer with it. You will just have to work at it twice as hard to help get your body condition with the asthma. As for the fee I don’t know anything about flat feet but I am sure you can get special shoes to help with it. If you are not sure you can consultant you local doctor. Good luck
