Recently my mailbox was broken into. I advised the real estate agent and filed a police report for insurance purposes. I threw the key out as I didnt think they would keep the mailbox however the real estate agent doesn't have a copy of the key either and is asking me to pay to get a new one cut. Is this legally correct?

well if the agent is broke and has no money they could ask you to get another one you accidentley throw it out well it sounds like they want you to purchase another key cause it got thrown out i think just to keep others happy i would go ahead and purchase another key so everybody would be happy
