A year into phone contract and my carrier has raised all the prices on their plans, including already existing customers, overall making me pay $89 a month!!!! I refuse to pay into their corporate greed. So if I "loose" my phone, I will still have to pay $19 a month for the phone and unfortunately no longer pay the $70 for the plan. (So sad, not!) Can my carrier do anything to block me from accessing my phone, Android or iPhone? If so do I have to do anything to stop them from doing it?

It doesn't sound like a good provider charging you that for your plan I would look into a different provider myself they aren't supposed to block your phone from making calls. Or doing anything else I pay 38 dollars for mine its unlimited data text unlimited everything and my minutes.
