I went to my previous employer on payday to get my check but it wasn't at the store. The managers there called her and asked where my check was and told her that I brought my uniform back, which is all that I needed to get the check. She told them that she took my check to her house and told me to come back the next day to talk to her and I would get my check. But i don't understand why she took my check to her house. It has my name on it and all employees are required to sign for the check before we leave the store. That's not her property and it left the store without my signature.
