First you should pay for the window...........  Your child was there.  Then you make him work off what you had to pay.  Community service etc.  Teach your child honesty.  If the other parents do not want to help out.  Well not much you can do for that but teach your child acceptance and being responsible.

yes this is true, my son (also 9) was in a similar situation when him and his pal robbed a local 7-11 and they were both arrested.

Not for breaking a window, a good talking to will do and the window  must be repaired that would fall on the parents because he is too young.

Yeah, its true. If your son doesn't pay for the damage he's done, entirely, then yes, he will be arrested and he might go to juvenile hall or a Beyond Scared Straight program if he doesn't pay for the damage.
