My dog and I will be in a Christmas parade and I'd like to "Santa up" a plain red t-shirt I bought for her. I also bought white faux fur trim to apply to the neckline and waistline of the t-shirt, but I have zero experience working with faux fur. I read that sewing with faux fur will dirty up my machine, leaving fuzzy particles in the moving parts, requiring a thorough cleaning afterwards, which I'd like to avoid if possible, so I'm wondering if you think the iron-set hem tape will work with faux fur. I don't want to ruin the t-shirt if I try it and it doesn't work. What do the experts think? Thanks in advance. :)
