Can I use glucophage alone in managing diabetes?

If your dr wants you to take it and has been prescibed to you its simple to get it i think glucophage is like metformin it works really well and comes in different doses your dr would have to give you something to give to the pharmacy. Alot of the time he would just fax it to the pharmacy so you don't have to do nothing but go pick and it up.
