This is all I know: Peanuts are a familiar and popular food for backyard birds, but can birds eat peanut butter? Checking the ingredient list on a peanut butter jar reveals hydrogenated vegetable oil, salt, molasses, sugar and a range of other additives. Backyard birders may worry about how healthy peanut butter can be for birds, but it can be actually be a great treat to add to a backyard buffet.
Well, what are you going to grind it with? If you have a grinder, well, you can make bird seed butter. Peanut butter is made from peanuts. And it's important that peanuts have a lot of oil; a peanut is so oily it will burn like a candle. If your bird seed has little or no oil, you are going to get ground seeds, not butter. So you add just the right amount of salad oil ... Wait, what kind of salad oil? Some kinds have lousy flavor.
I went through all this when I first got a blender. After a few experiments I decided it was more work than it was worth.
So to answer your question: Maybe. Try it and see.
