Today is the fifth day of my period (usually 6/7 days long) and I have my yearly physical checkup (not gyno) tomorrow. There is a chance my period could be over by then, but I still want to know what to do. Should I get my mom to reschedule the appointment? My dad is taking me, so I would feel uncomfortable telling my doctor that I'm on my period while he's there. I haven't gotten a physical in two years, so I don't remember if they have to check down there and all. I use tampons, not pads, so would that be helpful or an issue? This is the first time I'm meeting my new doctor, so I don't know what she's like or how she might react. What should I do?
Can I have my yearly physical while I'm on my period?

Okay, so physicals are usually just an exterior check-up. Very rarely do they do internal checks. What you're going to want to do is call your doctor tomorrow morning as soon as the office opens and tell them your situation. They will tell you what to do from there. Not a big deal, they see it all the time. :) Good luck, dear.
