I was eating icecream with a spoon and she wanted to try some, so I gave her a spoonful and then continued using the same spoon myself. Will I get cold sores? She doesn't have any at the moment but she had them in the past. What symptoms should I look out for? Also how long would it take for cold sores to appear? This happened a few days ago.
Can I get cold sores from someone who gets them but doesn't currently have any?

If she didn't have an active sore when you shared a spoon your chances on contracting something like that are slim. Usually cold sores are genetic. Unless she does in fact have some kind of std i highly doubt you have anything to worry about sharing a spoon with her lol
