After seeing the resent episode of southpark I was wondering if I brought a drone I can fly it round the block with out even leaving my bedroom?

I'm pretty sure you can fly a drone around your block without leaving your bedroom because some drones of cameras allowing you to see what the drone sees even if you couldn't normally see it from your bedroom. I've also seen a drone that a tech guy who is friends of my parents who brought it to a part my parents held one time.
It depends. I own a DJI phantom 3 and it all matters about how many obstacles there are between you and the drone. But yes it is possible to fly a drone from your bedroom. However you would have to hold the controller outside your window for the drone to receive the radio signal. If you were to fly it in between you and an obstacle than you would lose signal and the drone would either return home or hover until the connection re establishes, according to the settings that you have. I wouldn't risk it but its up to you.
