Can I cash a check made payable to me in trust for my minor son?

if it has your name on it and its not for your son you might have a chance to cash it i would make sure that it doesn't have any mygating circumstances hidden around before you cash anything make sure its for you and it doesn't have any strings attached ask the person who wrote the check
