Being relatively thin I always wanted to be bigger woman. I'm not sure if it's a sense of attraction, vanity, or just personal preference or a sign of a serious problem. Any answer is worth it honestly

On the side of being a serious problem I think in part it depends on how much bigger we are talking and what kind bodybuilder bigger, grossly obese, softer/rounder/curvy?
There are people on both sides of the fence.. I am a bigger girl have been my whole life..Yes I would like to be healthier but I am okay with how I am... I grew up food is love, within ten minutes of being in home both myself and my boyfriend will ask you if you've eaten... and I never want to turn a plate away my guy has cooked because of calories (he's a chef and an amazing one at that).
Bottom line... Yes, you could live a happy, active, healthy, beautiful life. And if you put the weight on carefully and you find you are not comfortable then goes away too!!
Good Luck whatever you choose... (BTW while yes there are men that chase chubby girls there are men like mine who that is legitimately what they like not just a kink)
I would also say that it very much depends on why you would like to gain weight. Being overweight has some effects on your health, no matter how much some overweight people tell you that they are happy the way they are. I am myself have been obese, and am now still overweight. I feel how losing the weight (steady over time) had a positive impact on my energy levels and general well being. So if I was you, I would not intentionally seek to become overweight.
You have clearly asked about being overweight - not about being your ideal weight. If you feel you are too thin, then gaining a bit of weight won't do any damage, but if you are normal for your height, then why become overweight on purpose?
