When I was 13 I had to take care of my grandmother after she had heart surgery.

Not in most states in the US. You may be able to take care of someone privately like the family member of someone you know, but not for a business. This is usually because of the licensing requirements set by the Department of Health, or a liability issue with the companies insurer. I would look online for the Department of Health in your state and see what licensing requirements there are and what age limits they set.
