Can I attend to school that is not my assigned address school?

So I am middle school student, soon I have to go to high school but my school that is assigned for my address is horrible. So I want to go to school that is actually on far a way from my house. Is this possible?

It depends upon the State you live in.  Here in Minnesota, there is open enrollment and the answer would be yes.

idk depends on where you live, in ontario you have to go to designated high school unless doing program like IB, sports, arts and etc

In New York I believe you can but you have to transport yourself to and from school so that means no buses

Depending on where you live, you can request a school. This also depends on weather it is a public or private school as it is easier to find a private school but public school they might be strict with transferring. If you want to go to another public school that offers a program your previous school doesn&rsquo;t have this can be a reason they would let you depending on what the program might be (eg: honors program) Basically just do what you can and do it legally.
