Yes. The current structure and the composition of the IASB is an eloquent testimony that the interest of the IFRS is the protection of investment of the developed countries than the developing ones. It has only one board member from Africa with 5 members from the USA that has not even adopted the IFRS fully.
More so, the British Accounting body had been known of downgrading culture idea and value systems of the colonized people, of which Ghana is one, whilst actively promoting their system of capitalist representation through accounting principles (especially the IFRS).
All these attest to the fact
