My mom works in a assited living facility (she passes medications) and there's a guy that lives there that's only in there because of his physical disability from getting hit by a car. Their both around 40 and this is in the state of Missouri. They've been dating for for about 2 years. The owners and head nurse didn't have a problem with my moms and boyfriends relationship as long as it wasnt distracting and during when she was working. They got a new head nurse recently and she told the owners that they could get in trouble (my mom and the owners) if they continued dating so the owners told her not to see him anymore. My moms boyfriend is a ward of the court and his guardian approves. So can the facility and my mom actually get in trouble for this? Her boyfriend and all the other residents can have visitors but apparently not if they work there I guess. I can't find anything online about this. But if it was his grandmother or brother visiting him I'm sure they would let them. I think this is stupid and I need information about it and what's legal and not and if anyone can get in trouble. Thanks.
