Hi, recently i needed to look for a phone number on my partners phone on a site he had visted previously... when i opened up the search history.. information re: two dating sites appeared. He has previously been a memeber of similar sites previous to our relationship (he openly discusses this) He is swearing that he never visited these sites and so my question is if sites visited previously can b book marked to your sd card? Could they have been pop ups? (Baring in mind that users profiles were opened which in my mind leads me to believe that they were NOT pop ups) Nobody could have interferred with his phone as its numerous different days. Could it b a trojan virus? im at my wits end and my partner is STRENUOUSLY denying all involvment. We have a two month old child and I need to get to the bottom of it in order to make important decisions regardibg her welfare first and foremost

First of all, I feel sorry for your partner that he is with someone who is so distrustful, paranoid and jealous (and with a poor grasp of what is possible and what is likely).
Pop up adverts tend to be for trashy goods/services, with dating sites being very common. He may have had a pop up advert.
He may have instead accidentally clicked on an ordinary non-pop up advert for a dating site (also very common). Often I find myself accidentally clicking on an advert, then clicking on the back button before I even learn of what I have clicked on. If he had done that, then it is quite likely that he would have forgotten he accidentally clicked on an advert.
He may have clicked on a link that is on some popular website associated with a dating site. I've witnessed this happen to someone else while they were on an auctions website (and were confused that they weren't on the auctions website).
The above are even more likely while using a smart phone.
There are some other possibilities, such as malware, hacking, accidentally visiting a site (thinking it was something else), or maybe he did intentionally visit a dating site but without the intention of cheating.
