Today, my cold sores decided to pop up. I know to never kiss anyone while the coldsores are still on my face, etc. But, unfortunately I was holding my baby cousin and she suddenly threw her hand at my face... I had vaseline over the sore but I was wondering if she could possibly have caught it by it being on her hand? Also, I probably rubbed my sore out of irritation and touched my boyfriend afterwards... With vaseline/cream over it still... I never touched his lips or anything though... Does the virus die quickly on hands? I'm panicking lol
