Can anything be done about a leather jacket that was stored in a plastic garment bag? It's wet?

...  feeling. I read somewhere not to do that, but too late.  Help!

Depends. If it is real leather, you could seek advice from a dry cleaners. If it is a leather substitute, then it will dry out okay.Real leather tends to crack after drying out.

First, never store leather or any natural product in plastic.  Apply a reasonably thick coat of leather conditioner if its still slightly wet. Massage the conditioner into the surface of the leather and leave it to dry for several hours or overnight.
