Hey all. I'm 18 and heading off to college in the end of August and i'm looking for someone that can help me make or provide me with a diet plan to burn fat. I'm looking for a more simple one considering that the other ones I've tried are either very complicated or don't work for me. I workout about 5 times a week and played football and hockey in high school and will probably play Intramural sports in college or club sports. I lift a lot and do good cardio but the dieting needs to change. I work around 3-4 days a week so any help will be appreciated. I'm just looking to shed a few lbs of fat but not muscle. i'm about 5'10, 225 lbs, with around 16-17% body fat so i have a bit of a gut. Please help that'd be wonderful.

Hi! First off, it's really, really good that you're exercising. Keep that up! Diet wise, I can definitely give you some tips. I would definitely say to avoid sweets of any kind, and eating out. Another tip, is to drink one glass of water before each meal. This will help avoid any over-eating. Also, in the middle of the day, when you want a snack, eat a piece of fruit or a veggie. Unsalted pretzels/nuts are always a good option too. :) Hope this helps!
