I am creating software for a bail bond business for a school project, but I don't know enough about how they operate to design the application correctly. I cannot find any decent books on the topic either. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank you!

...Some have bail bond agents this is a person who works for the bail bond company they take cases on and they get a percentage of the bail that's been a ligated to bring the person who skipped on the bail in where this person needs to be brought to justice. So they go after the defendant to come back and answer the charges that they made bail on some just run. There for the agency has to arrest them before someone else does now normally the person is in jail they make bail that's how the bonding agent got involved in the first place its normally putting 10 percent of the amount up for property or cash.So if the person put up property or cash the person is subjected to lose the cash or property that was put up to guarantee the defendant would make it to court if they jump bail the person stands to lose the cash or property they the bounty hunter.
