So i was talking to a few mates about buying some new equipment. I expressed thoughts about buying an amplifier from the Philippines, because i visit my relatives here every Christmas, and bringing it back to Singapore. I was immediately shot down by one of them, lets call him Dan. Dan said that if brought the thing onto the plane it would get damaged and i would have wasted my money. Before i could ask him to elaborate, the bell rang and we had to get to class. So does can an amplifier really get damaged on a plane? if so, how? and is there anyway to prevent it?
