Can a relationship last if the man is 68 and the woman is 47?

I honestly don't see why it couldn't . At both your age , it is a very mature age. There are many things to consider , pros and cons of course . But isn't every relationship the same way . There is no guarantee any relationship will last, a chance everyone takes. Very good question , tried my best to help;) best of luck ;)
