My professor has an assignment that asks all about our health history. It has questions such as when my last pelvic exam was, if I've ever been a victim of rape, have I ever had an STI or HIV, do I use illegal/illicit drugs, do I have a drinking problem, etc. These all feel like a huge invasion of privacy. I talked to my professor about it and let her know I was uncomfortable answering any of these questions. She told me that she's never had a problem with it before but I don't have to fill out the questionnaire if I don't want to. I can just write up a health assessment for myself. I'm curious if it's even legal to be asking these questions, though?
