Can a dental hygienist answer a few questions?

Yes, I'm 36 and male and basically I want to remove two poorly done veneers from my top two teeth and instead of replacements, I would like to have those two teeth instead crowned. My other fronts feel like they've lost something over time and I really think it would nice if I could have all 6 front teeth done at once. Is that possible? I've never had anything like this done to my mouth. I've been told drilling is necessary, but maybe you could tell me more?
