My husband was asked to complete an anonymous feedback form regarding a training session that he attended at work. As he felt the session did not benefit him, this is what he stated in the form. He is now under investigation at work for making honest points on the form. They have searched for other paperwork to match up his writing on the form - (he did not swear or call anyone on the form). Are they trying to get rid of him? can anyone help please? Thank you.

If I was in your husbands position I would report this unacceptable behavior to my Union. Not only is this a clear breach of declared confidentiality, it has defeated the purpose of obtaining unbiased opinion for the foreseeable future.
Whatever their purpose ( it maybe they are interested in his opinion in a constructive way?), this as far away from good management practice that one can get!
I do not believe they could use this on its own for discipline, but if that is the limit of their management ability, I would start looking for a new career opportunity before they sink the company.
I hope this is just an isolated incident by one Ahole manager trying to save himself by delegating blame & it will have as much little success as his ability.
Thank you for your answer Ernest
